One Island One Voice
Bali-based musicians – along with several eco-conscious activists – unite to get Bali clean.
After writing a theme song for the ‘One Island One Voice’ campaign (spearheaded by Melati and Isabel Wijsen; cofounders of www.byebyeplasticbags.org), an incredible amount of musicians, singers, engineers, actors and media joined Athron in bringing the song to life both as both a studio recorded track and a music video.
The aim of this project is to promote awareness of the growing waste problem within Bali, Indonesia and the world. More specifically the song hopes to educate the next generation within Bali itself to take action against the root causes of the rubbish issue and help improve it’s management on such a beautiful island.
Below are photos and information links along with videos including a teaser clip that was used to promote Bali’s biggest clean up day on February 19th 2017.
